Rebranding - Azerbaijan Chess Federation
Azerbaijan Chess Federation was established in 1920 during the Soviet Union period. After Azerbaijan gained independence in 1991, the Azerbaijan Chess Federation became a member of the International Chess Federation (FIDE) in 1992.
In 2002, the European championship was held in Baku, and in 2003 the world championship was held in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Azerbaijani chess players won 33 gold, 25 silver and 24 decorated medals in the world and European championships. In 2007-2010, various international competitions, "Baku Open - 2010" competitions were held in Baku.
This is a project from when I studied Graphic Design at Code Academy and has nothing to do with the Azerbaijan Chess Federation.

At the same time, horses are considered competitive in battle and are always on the front lines.

1)Knight's different path and movement in 8 directions; It symbolizes the different activities of the brand in every aspect.
2)Knight jumping over other figures; My main purpose in showing the feature here is that our federation does not recognize any obstacles and provides quality service.
3)chessboard and light and dark checkers on it; Of course, the indispensable part of a chess federation is the game of chess, and I wanted to mention this in my logo.
4)The value of the knight in chess; In chess, 4 checkers are required to show that the knight moves like the letter L, but I expressed his move, which I liked visually, as 3 checkers and explained its value of 3 points. I also placed the letters A, C and F, which are the first letters of the 3 words in the brand name, in harmony.
